Welcome to CKC Summer Day Camp!
We are very excited about the upcoming
summer program, which promises to be
better than ever! As a parent, you can expect
the safety that comes from a fully licensed
program located on elementary school
grounds. The information within this
brochure exists as a supplement to our
Parent Handbook. All policies stated in our
Parent Handbook apply.
Registration
Registration begins April 10, 2017 and is
open until filled. A nonrefundable
registration fee of $85.00 is charged per
family. First week tuition and registration
fee are due at time of registration.
Current CKC Families
Families enrolled in CKC’s 2016/17 school
year programs will need to complete a
Summer Camp Enrollment packet and will
also receive priority registration. To register
for summer camp, please visit our
administrative office for a Summer Camp
Enrollment packet.
New Families to CKC
New families, as well as families returning
from last summer, will need to complete an
enrollment packet. Please visit our
administrative office to register your
child(ren) for summer camp!
What’s CKC’s Summer Day Camp
Like?
This year, CKC Summer Day Camp will be
offered at Gault & Soquel Elementary
Schools. The program is suited for children
who have completed TK/Kindergarten
through entering grade 6 . The program will
offer a variety of activities, clubs, events,
and field trips suitable for all ages. Two
nutritious snacks are provided daily. Our
staff to child ratio is 1:14. Our staff consists
of fully qualified teachers and site directors
who will teach a variety of science, music,
sports, cooking, drama, and art activities.
We offer 4 and 5 day/week camp schedules.

Rates:
Our two step sliding scale is based on family
size and income. Information available in
our administration office.
5 Days/ Week: Step 1-$169/week
Step 2-$191/week
4 Days/Week: Step 1-$136/week
Step 2-$155/week
Please be prompt when picking up your
child. Campers picked up after 6:00 pm will
be charged a family late fee of $1.00 per
minute.
Refunds & Credits
Refunds or credits will not be given for
missed days and a two week notice is
required for any schedule changes.

Beach Days, Pool Days, & Field Trips
-Trips to the beach will begin at
approximately 12:00 p.m., and all campers
will return from the beach by 4:30 p.m.
-Campers will swim (Simpkins Swim
Center) under the supervision of lifeguards
and staff, from 1:00-3:00pm.
-We will be going on many off site field
trips in Santa Cruz in our CKC vans. For
field trips to Monterey, Los Gatos, Gilroy,
and San Jose we will be taking a bus.
-Field Trips Include: Gilroy Gardens, Dennis
the Menace Park, The Tech Museum, The
Mystery Spot, and Vasona Park.
