Employability and careers guidance

their week, preparing for or participating in real work placements. The personal coach will
support students through these, providing them with personalised support, training and

needs and goals. The personal coach will play a central part in this process, working with
students at the beginning of each project to assess their training and support needs.

students have the support that they require. For example, students may ask for a support
with public speaking to help them with a project that involves strong presentational skills.
The personal coach will also attend key parts of core projects, providing staff and students
with support as required.
