• The Bulldogs have won 10-straight games against MSU dating back to the 2012-13 season,

• Minnesota State is 2-0 for the first time since the 2011-12 season, when the Mavericks won
three straight games to start the campaign. MSU has also won consecutive games for the first
time since Jan. 7 and 9, 2015.

• A rematch of the 2016 WCHA Quarterfinals (won by UND) awaits in St. Cloud, where the Huskies
will host a Fighting Hawks team that earned a win and tie on the road at Mercyhurst last
weekend.
• SCSU is the only WCHA team to have played each of the previous two weekends, dropping a pair
of contests Sept. 23-24 to No. 1 Wisconsin and splitting with Merrimack last weekend.
• The Huskies are seeking to snap a 12-game (0-11-1) winless streak at home against the Fighting
Hawks that dates back to the 2010-11 season; however, SCSU earned a win last season at the
Ralph Engelstad Arena.
• UND scored first in both games last weekend, but after winning the first game 3-1, was forced to
tie 1-1 in the weekend finale. All of North Dakota’s scoring came in the first period, while both of
the Lakers’ goals came in the third period. Special teams were also a factor over the weekend, as
UND had 12 power-play opportunities and Mercyhurst had 15.
• Overall, UND senior G Lexie Shaw made a total of 45 saves (on 47 shots) on the weekend,
recording a .957 save percentage and a 0.96 goals-against average.
