Thank you for entering the Mister Window / Maesteg Quins RFC Golf Challenge 2013
This year the Quins are delighted to announce the support of Mister Window and also
Caerau Chemists,. Therefore we request all our patrons support these businesses.
Equally, your superb and continued support of the event is greatly appreciated and vital to its
continued year on year success. YOU make the competition as enjoyable as it is. Attached is
an entry form for the competition.
Entry forms and full payment must be received by Sunday, June, 29th. Due to the increasing
popularity of this competition, tee-off times are reserved on a ‘First Come – First Served’
basis. Therefore it is vital the entry forms and payment are made as soon as possible.
Cheques should be made payable to Maesteg Harlequins RFC and can be left at the
clubhouse or given to your usual contacts on or before Sunday, June, 29th.
The entry fee again remains at just £120 per team. This includes tea / coffee and a bacon roll
on arrival, a round of golf, plus you can enjoy an excellent two course Sunday dinner at the
end of your round. This offers wonderful value for money.
When every round of golf is completed and everyone has eaten, the following prizes will be
awarded:

The coveted Jones & Skinner Claret Jug for the Individual Champion.
The Kobblers Cup presented to the Individual Runner-up.
The much sought after SPAR Cup presented to the Team Champions.
Prizes for Longest Drive, Nearest-to-the-Pin, Endeavour of the Day and to the best
player from each individual team.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
A strict dress code is imposed at Maesteg Golf Club, both on and off the course.
Competitors are respectfully reminded to adhere to the club rules. These include:
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are caps, jeans, collarless shirts, sports shorts or replica
football / rugby shirts are to be worn in the clubhouse.
On the course, you are expected to wear the appropriate attire. Sports shorts are not
permitted but ‘dress’ shorts are. Polo shirts and appropriate footwear must be worn.
