Killer Tracks Hard Drive Solution Troubleshooting:
Cannot audition or download a selected track: The most common cause is an
incorrect drive letter or IP address in the “HD Preferences” tab. Killer Tracks’ hard drive
solution is designed to provide versatility for single users and networks. When the drive
is created, it gets assigned the appropriate drive letter and path for the computer that
created it. The drive or network path may not correspond to yours when you plug the
drive into your computer.
Simply go to “HD Preferences” Tab and change the drive letter in each field to match the
drive letter your computer assigned. All the paths in each field remain the same; just
change the drive letter.
**Be sure to always select “Save Changes” to make sure that your preferences update**
Networking: In cases where the audio is being stored on a network for multiple user
access, your administrator may need to provide the IP address for the audio fields. In
the “HD Preferences” tab, these fields are titled Song Samples Folder and Song Files
Folder. Both Paths should be the same.
