Criteria:
Applicant must be currently residing in campus housing, including Family and Graduate Student Housing. This
award is open to graduating seniors and graduate students. All other applicants must be returning to campus
housing.
Instructions:
1. Application must include three typewritten letters of support. These should include a fellow student, a faculty member
or student group advisor, and member of the Housing and Residential Life Staff.
2. Please attach a separate sheet to this application to provide the requested information below. All responses must be
typed and should be 50-100 words each.

Please list all honors received and activities in which you have participated over the past twelve months.
2.
Please identify which honor or activity is most meaningful to you and why.
3.
What leadership qualities do you bring to your community that enhances your leadership abilities?
4.
Please give your personal definition of student leadership. How have you met your own criteria?
5.
Please describe how you have demonstrated innovation and creativity within your community. Please provide
specific examples.
6.
Please list any additional factors that you would like the scholarship committee to consider as they review your
application.
Please return to the Housing and Residential Life Office, Iba Hall, no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017. No late
applications will be accepted. Please PAPER CLIP your application and supporting documents together. No folders, large
envelopes, or other binders will be accepted. However, recommendation letters can be in a sealed #10 envelope.
Incomplete applications as well as improperly completed applications will be disqualified. Scholarships will be announced
by July 1, 2017. All awards will be distributed to the winner’s bursar account AFTER August 15, 2017.
