This guide will walk you through the process to attend the Bakken
Contract Oil Hauler Safety Orientation online. Safety Orientation is
required for you to enter and work at all Marathon Oil facilities.
The training includes videos and slides. You will need to correctly answer
knowledge questions at the end of the presentation.
After you complete the training you will receive information on where
you can obtain your completion sticker. The hard hat sticker is proof
that you have completed the training. You may not enter our locations
until you have received the hard hat sticker.
Note: You will be required to show proof of identity to obtain your
hardhat sticker. Be sure to bring this with you when you pick up your
hardhat sticker.
Now follow the steps in this guide to complete your training.

Step 1: Create an Account
 Click HERE to begin registration
 Select “Click here to register”

 Your User ID will be automatically generated. Write down your User
ID here _____________. You will need it to log on later.
 Complete all of the required fields (marked by the red *).
 Create a unique password. Please note the password requirements:
** For Location please select MOC Dickinson in the drop down menu

Selecting “Submit” will complete your registration and display the
following screen:
Select “Continue”
The next screen you see will be the
“How To Get The Most Out Of Learning” screen.
Selecting “Continue” will take you to your Learning Plan. Since
your account is new, you will have no assignments. Select Sign
Out.

Step 2: Notify Marathon
Send an email with your company’s name, your name, your ID number
(Issued when you registered) and a copy of your OSHA 10, PEC or
Safeland card to the following:
 [email protected]
The subject line should be “Remote Training Request”
You will receive an email reply when your Training Plan has been
populated and you may then start the training.
Step 3: Complete Assigned Training
After you receive an Email from Marathon stating your training is ready,
you can log in and complete your training.
Click HERE to log in.
Your Learning Plan will contain your assigned module. Click on the
course title to begin.

View the entire presentation. To begin the presentation, click the arrow
at the bottom right side of the screen.
At the end of the presentation you will be required to take and pass a
Knowledge Check. Passing score is 80%. Click Next to Continue.

Answer each question. Select Submit to advance to the next question.
Once you have completed the Knowledge Check you will see your score.
If you have passed the Knowledge Check, click Next to complete the rest
of the training. If you did not pass you can click “Retry Quiz” to retake the
Knowledge Check, or “Review Quiz” to see how you answered the
questions before testing again.

As an Oil Hauler, you will also view the Manual Tank Gauging Awareness
Training and take a Knowledge Test. The training lesson will start
automatically.
At the end of the Manual Tank Gauging lesson there will be a final
Knowledge Check test. Click Next to continue.

Click Submit after selecting an answer for each test question.
After successful completion of the Knowledge Check, click on Next.

Once you have reach this screen you are done. You can exit the training
by closing your browser.

that you have completed the course and where you would like to obtain
your hard hat stickers.
Once completed and verified you will receive an email advising you when
your stickers will be ready for pick up at the office of your choice.
