Professional Training:
1. ‘Research Design and Ethics’, one week intensive seminar. High Quality
Research Support Programme (HQRS) organised by Observatory of
Conflict and Violence Prevention, Transparency Solution and University
of Bristol in Hargeisa, Somaliland on 14-18 November 2016. The training
involved 30 mid-career researchers from higher education, civil-society
and public administration from across Somalia. Trainee’s evaluations:

2. ‘Research Methodology and Academic Publishing’, organized through the
TRAIN programme by the University of Belgrade on 29 November 2014
and 23 May 2015 in Belgrade. The training involved 10 trainees, all

3. ‘Introduction to Security Sector Reform in Democratising Societies’,
organised by Policy Association for an Open Society (Prague), One World
Foundation (Cairo) and Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) in

Administrative duties
1. 2008/2015. Manager of MSc programme ‘International Security’ at the
Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade (together with Prof.
Miroslav Hadžić). As a manager of this MSc programme, I developed
cutting edge new teaching programme, which attracted new students to
the University. Each year the program enrolled 25 students out of whom
two thirds were junior or mid-career professionals employed in the

security sector in Serbia. Since the outset, OSCE mission in Serbia has
supported the module.
2. 2014/2015, Member, Ethical Committee, Faculty of Political Sciences,
University of Belgrade. As a member of the Committee, my duty was to
review disciplinary process against students.
3. 2014/2015, Member, Accreditation Committee, Faculty of Political
Sciences, University of Belgrade. As a member of the Committee, my duty
was to review applications for foreign diploma accreditation.
4. 2012/2014, Member, Normative Committee, Faculty of Political Sciences,

draft the Code of Ethics of the Faculty which was later adopted.
