Have a say in Rotorua’s sustainable future Rotorua Lakes Council is leading the development of a sustainable living strategy for the district and we would value your involvement and input. The strategy will contribute to the district’s shared 2030 vision. It will be developed with the steering group of council’s Sustainable Living Portfolio, which is led by Councillor Janet Wepa. Sustainability is defined as “meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. We are establishing focus groups to consider and discuss in detail key topics relating to sustainable living to assist in the development of the strategy and you are invited to join in this process. We believe you would have a valuable contribution to make. Council and the portfolio steering group want to know what you think. He aha ō whakaaro?
