Bring your craft, games, funny stores and jokes – connect it to the weekly theme. Come with your ideas to share and have lots of fun! Participation at camp (Positive Attitude): Interact positively and respectfully with everyone. Positively participate in and demonstrate enthusiasm for all activities and games Be a role model for the children in the program by demonstrating a respectful attitude and following camp rules What it means to be a leader in Training: Facilitators – are leaders who create environments and activities that help children shine. Mentors – are leaders who take on a big brother or sister role, someone who will listen to children’s problems, give advice and be available. Leaders – are often teachers of new skills. Role models – are leaders for children who look up to or copy their leader’s behaviour. Ambassadors – are leaders for their program and community, who welcome parents and children into a broader community. Goals will be made on Mondays and reviews will be done on Fridays. Recommendations will be made accordingly. Greenway Chaplin can provide you a reference for future volunteering or employment and this will be based on your review and goals achieved.
