August 2017 may begin to attend primary school in August 2017.

Children who will be 5 years between 15 August 2017 and 28
February 2018 may also enrol at this time, although it may be
decided, after discussion, to delay entry.
Of course, if you do not have access to the internet, we can
provide paper copies of any school newsletters etc. Just get in
touch with the class teacher.
If your child attends Rosebank Nursery, enrolment information
will be in your child’s mail tray in the parents’ area from Monday
30th January. Forms can be returned to the school at any time
during the week.

PARENTAL CONCERNS
When parents or carers have a concern or a query the class
teacher/early years worker is the first contact in the school.
Parents and carers can arrange an appointment with the
teacher/early years workers directly or through the school
office. If the concern continues and the matter is unresolved,
parents and carers should contact the relevant member of the
leadership team. If the matter remains unresolved the parent
or carer should arrange to meet the head teacher. There have
been changes made due to the current reduced leadership time

IN-SERVICE DATE CHANGE
Please note that the in-service day scheduled for June has been
changed to Thursday May 4th.
SCHOOLS SKI COMPETITION
Can your child ski?
Would they be interested in entering the
ski competition representing Rosebank?
Please contact either
Ollie Clokie at [email protected] or Linda O’Donnell at
Linda.O’[email protected] now if your child is interested.
The event itself is very inclusive and not all about having to win
so it doesn't matter if they haven't raced before but they need
to be able to control their speed and direction, use a tow, have
their own kit and be able to navigate down a course (normally on
a blue run). The event is due to take place on Wednesday 1st
February with a backup date of Wednesday the 22nd February.
