Auditflow Wins 2012 Queensland State iAward – second year!

Gold Coast financial software company Auditflow, has again been recognised as a
leader in innovation at the prestigious Queensland iAwards held in Brisbane last week.
For the second consecutive year, Auditflow Publishing, the strategic partner of Sage
Handisoft in Australia, has taken out the category for best Financial Industry Application.
The company’s software application for self-managed superfunds was selected from a
shortlist of companies, which included submissions from major state-based financial
services firms.
Developed in Queensland with the aim of providing auditors with a uniquely time
efficient, user friendly and compliant software program for the audits of Self Managed
Super Funds. Auditflow SMSF enhances the completion of audits in an accurate,
systematic, cost-effective and productive manner.
Auditflow’s innovation lies in being a ‘cloud’ or browser-based, software-as-a-service
(SaaS) application. The solution is available online 24/7 and multiple users can access
the system at any one time speeding up the process for audit completion and ensuring
compliance.
Auditflow CEO Richard Neal said it was a huge accomplishment for the business.
“This is the second year in a row we have won the award, but for two unique and
different products. We are not aware of any other Queensland business that has done
this,” Mr Neal said.
The iAwards are one of the most prestigious industry Awards in Australia and
recognises outstanding achievement and innovation in the ICT industry. Auditflow will
join other iAwards national finalist for the ICT national gala event in Melbourne on
August 9, 2012.

Auditflow’s products are targeted at accountants that do audits, improving their
efficiency and effectiveness whilst improving audit quality.
“We have now launched overseas and finalising distribution and licensing agreements
with major accountancy software providers in overseas markets,” he said.
Auditflow is supported by CPA Australia and guides the auditor through a step-by-step,
fully compliant system to create all the work-papers that an auditor requires for a job. It
also utilises real-time compliance, so that the content is always current, regardless of
when changes are made to audit legislation.
National Manager of Sales and Marketing at Sage Handisoft, Gary Weisz, noted a
growing demand from accounting firms adopting the Auditflow products to help them
undertake their audit assignments.

products for them”, Mr Weisz said.
Key benefits of Auditflow SMSF include improved compliance with mandatory Australian
Auditing Standards, professional standards and the Australian Tax Office audit
requirements for Self Managed Super Funds.
The Cloud based product provides full tracking of the audit process, and a reduction in
audit risk and exposure. Other features include a saving of time and reduction in costs
associated with review corrections and the hosting of audit files and data storage.
Users can also take advantage of online training and webinars.
Michael Blumenstein, Chair of the IT Forum Gold Coast said Auditflow was leading the
way in its Cloud innovation and products, both in national and international markets.

the elite in the State,” he said.
Auditflow has launched internationally and is in the process of negotiating licensing
agreements in South Africa, United Kingdom, India and China. It has just released
other products in the international market this month, including the Auditflow Review.
