Contact any of us to tour the course or play a round, even in the winter. My wife Linda and I relocated to Plymouth from the Midwest to be close to our Son and his family. We moved in to the Pinehills, fully expecting to join and play there. Being an avid golfer who loves to walk, I was not excited about having to ride or sharing the course with the Public. I heard about Plymouth Country Club and took a look. It was the greatest decision I have ever made. Fast forward four years and I have made tons of friends and absolutely marvel at what a great golf course we get to play. In addition, the membership makes “outsiders” like me totally welcome. John McCall, Co-Chair. [email protected] My wife Karen and our two children Caitlin and Liam are entering our third year of membership at Plymouth country club. A country club can only be as good as it's golf course and its membership and it's difficult to excel in both areas. However I think Plymouth Country Club has been one of the few who have successfully reached the upper tier in both categories. Plymouth Country Club is a great place to come and unwind, play an outstanding golf course, and socialize with great people. Tom Mayer, Co-Chair. [email protected] I’ve been golfing forever and joined PCC in 1979. I should have every spot on the course memorized by now but still find places I’ve never been. All the holes are unique and I love that. I consider golf exercise with friends and hope to still be walking the course when I’m 80 something as some of my friends do now. Because I’m a real estate broker with a varying schedule I find the ability to look online at the tee sheet and join a threesome last minute a wonderful advantage. I play on the club’s State and Regional inter-club teams but most of the 80 rounds I played last year were here at my favorite golf course of all. Susan Eno. [email protected] My first day at Plymouth Country Club was the first time my mother left me alone with my Dad. As soon as the door closed behind her he threw me in the car and headed to "the club". I was probably only a few months old and I have to admit I am as addicted to the place as he and his father before him were. I'm proud to say I have a son who is also a member at PCC keeping the family tradition going. He also has a son and hopefully he will join some day as well - 5 generations and we keep coming back for a reason. This club is a part of us and we are a part it. Join me and the rest of my PCC family - you will wish you had done it sooner. Mike Ellis. [email protected] My husband, Barry, and I have been members of Plymouth Country Club since what I affectionately call “the Year of the Trailer”, when the new club house was being built. Even then we could see that PCC was a special club and golf has gone from being a “4 letter word” in my sports vocabulary to an activity that I enjoy tremendously, largely because I so enjoy playing at PCC. I look forward to playing as often as I can and now even play competitively (sort of) in the Bay Colony League! I look forward to welcoming new members to Plymouth Country Club, especially other women who may have the same reservations about golf that I once had. Janice Brodil. [email protected] As a new member last year I found the course to be nothing less than fantastic! Each hole has its own unique challenge, making it necessary to use every club in your bag. I found the people at PCC extremely friendly and welcoming. I was always able to find a game through group play, my own foursome, or to go on line and join in with others. The clubhouse is a great place to go after a round to meet other members. With the new season fast approaching, I look forward (with a little practice), to improve my play on the course and meet many new members. Pat Shea. [email protected] I’m Richard Brennan, and it’s my pleasure to serve on the 2013 Membership Committee here at Plymouth Country Club. This is my 38th year of membership, and I still enjoy every round at PCC as if it were my first. Our course is a gem, our clubhouse and staff top notch, and our membership shares an enthusiasm for golf and camaraderie. I highly recommend group play as a great way for new members, regardless of handicap level, to get a game and to meet the membership. Whether you prefer group play or your own tee time now is a great time to join our club. Richard Brennan. [email protected] Golf is in my blood. I grew up playing at Ponkapoag and even sold lemonade on the 15th to my father’s inner club group. My father is a PGA Class A Professional and my mother worked along side him in the Pro Shop. After college I was a member of Norwood CC and ran an active Scotch league. I then joined Segregansett and was sad to leave when I built my home in Plymouth making the distance too far. I was excited, however, to find Plymouth Country Club just 4 miles from my home and I joined as a single last April. I now serve on the Women’s Board and have enjoyed meeting and playing with many wonderful people. Kathleen Caddell. [email protected]
