When will you have product or produce ready to sell at the market?_______________________________
The OSU-OKC Farmers Market is a 100% Oklahoma Grown and Oklahoma Made market.
All items must be made or grown in Oklahoma.
Foods must be processed in a kitchen certified with the
Oklahoma Health Department. No exceptions will be made to this rule.
DATES OF ATTENDANCE
It is IMPERATIVE that vendors commit to attend ALL the dates within a scheduled “market season” for which
they apply. (The exception to this rule is in the case of weather or crop problems during the growing season.)
Rare absences may be approved in advance by the market manager. If an absence is approved, the space
may be assigned to an applicant on the waiting list to fill the space for the duration of the absence. Strict
attention to attendance is required for the good of the market and to be fair to fellow vendors and customers.
GUIDELINES OF ACCEPTANCE
Because there is a limited amount of space in the market, not every applicant can be accepted. Priority will be
given to (1) current vendors who have consistently followed market regulations and have exceptional
attendance records, (2) new vendors with Oklahoma Grown and made products that are not currently sold in the
market and create the correct balance for the market, and (3) vendors who have items not currently offered at
the market that create the correct balance of the market.

FEES
There are two types of fees. Each vendor will pay a seasonal space rental fee determined by the size of the
vendor’s market space. Additionally, each vendor will pay a daily sales fee at the end of each market that is
equal to 6% of their gross sales for the day. The 6% fee covers many market costs, such as advertising,
decorations, door prizes, special events, upkeep of the facilities and more. Space rental fee for each type of
space is listed below:
Spring/Summer Saturday Market
Large $50
Small $25
Indoor Winter Market
Large $50
Small $25

PRODUCE / PRODUCTS YOU ARE REQUESTING TO SELL
Due to space restrictions, admittance of new vendors into the market will be based on need and will follow
guidelines set forth by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture for Oklahoma Grown markets. Therefore, each
vendor must submit exactly what they would like to sell. Some vendors may not be allowed to sell every item
requested.
Please list the specific items (squash, watermelon, mustard greens, lettuce, etc.) you would like to sell. You do
not have to list variety. If needed, please use an extra sheet of paper to specifically list items.
NOTE: You may only sell items that you grow/produce yourself! Selling items for someone else other
than an employer, (“resale”) is only permitted with advanced permission of the market manager and
requires separate and prior approval!
