Heating to which we are accustomed to uses the convection
principle where source of heat is radiator, convector or other similar item.
First air near the radiator is heated. Then it gets discharged and goes up,
when it gets into contact with enclosing structures a partial heat transfer takes
place. After that cooled down air goes down and then the cycle repeats.
During that the surface of radiator heats to a sufficiently high
temperature. Under the ceiling the temperature is maximal while the floor
remains uncomfortably cool.
Using a traditional heating system it is very
difficult to regulate the desired temperature since this
system is extremely inert. Batteries overdry the air in the
room, it rapidly loses its moisture thus irritating
respiratory system and human skin. Invisible clouds of
dust go up carried away by airflow.
When using traditional heating:
- Difficult to regulate desired temperature;

Membranous electric heater ECO-200:
- with the help of thermostat temperature is regulated for each room;
- the heat flux from the heater is directly transmitted to the floor and furnishings and

The heating system built on ECO-200 is based on principle of
self regulation. A comfortable temperature is set on thermostat in each
room separately and system maintains that temperature automatically.

Membranous heater “ECO-200” brings us back to the natural
principle of heat exchange. Note: in nature thermal energy of the Sun is
transferred with infrared rays which warm earth by giving it their heat
and then already from the earth air is heated. Radiant ceiling heating
system is based on the same principle. Heat flux from its heating
elements is directly transferred to the surface of the floor and furnishings,
and its then through them the air in room is heated.

Estimated power consumption of the radiant heating system for
the heating season at a temperature regime of – 300 С in the
street and + 240 С indoors is:
- for residential premises – 11 kW-hours per month per 1 sq. m. м2 of heated area;
- for administrative premises – 15 kW-hours per month per 1 sq. m. м2 of heated area.
Radiant heating system heats enclosing structures in the first place that’s why it
is very important that they have sufficient thermal resistance (ability to prevent the passage
of heat through them to the outside). At insufficient thermal resistance the heat will be lost
through the enclosing structures. The minimum values of thermal resistance for areas are
listed in СНиП (Building Code) 23-02-2003 «Thermal protection of buildings».
