24 second Shot Clock START: Press the START button. The Shot Clock will run down. When the time reaches 00 seconds, the siren will sound 4 short beeps to indicate time has expired. STOP: Press the STOP button. The Shot Clock will remain at this time regardless of the main timer. RESET TO 24: Press the RESET button to return the time to 24 seconds. 1:- If the RESET button is pressed while the Shot Clock is running, it will return to 24 seconds and recommence running down. 2:- If the Reset button is pressed while the Shot Clock is stopped, it will reset to 24 seconds and remain stopped. RESET TO 14: With the clock stopped, Reset to 24 (as above), then press RESET button again. The shot clock can only be reset to 14 when the shot clock has been stopped. When there is less than 24/14 seconds remaining to be played in a quarter/half or period of extra time, and a new 24/14 second period is about to start, the Shot Clock shall not run.
