Probability Game
Part A:
With a partner, create a board game based on the probability of two independent
events. For example: two attempts on a spinner, rolling two dice, drawing two cards.
Create a special event (i.e. roll doubles get to go again, spinning two of the same
colour).
Test your game and make necessary changes.
Part B:
Submit a report which includes the following:
Create a probability tree for all of the outcomes of your game. Calculate the theoretical
probability of each outcome.
Write a list of instruction on how to play your game. Be sure to provide clear
instructions so that others can play your game without confusion.
Part C:
Play your game as many times as possible, and record the experimental probability of
each event using a tally chart.

Clear and concise instructions on how to play the game (typed)
My report is detailed and demonstrates an understanding of probability
My tally chart is included as part of my report
I enhance the appeal of the game board by carefully selecting colour (i.e.
complementary colours, range of values)

Part C:
Which events were close to theoretical probability?
Which events were not close to theoretical probability?
What might be the reason for this?
Is your game fair? Explain your thinking.
