CHEMISTRY DAY
On April 21, a chemistry day was held under the slogan
"Elements around us". After learning about the elements,
there was a competition taking part on the school
grounds between I B, I C and I D. I B team won the
competition. The best pupils in the competition were
able to give their class a winning treat of candy. Among
chemistry and sweets enthusiasts, there was a large
group of our teachers who were answering questions
during a long break. Students were eager to take part in
the "chemical game" and C12H22O11 in the form of
candy quickly disappeared.

eTwinning
The eTwinning program has been in our school since
January 2005. The coordinator of the program at our
school is Katarzyna Pychyńska, an English teacher
who represented the. J. Kochanowski at the
inaugural conference in Brussels in 2005.
eTwinning
The task of the eTwinning Program is to foster
partnership between European schools through the
use of information and communication technology.
This program enables teachers and young people in
Europe to better understand each other and share
information in all areas of life while improving their
language and information skills.
eTwinning
The eTwinning Program is also intended to establish
and strengthen relationships between schools in
Europe. It provides the opportunity to communicate
with representatives of other cultures via the
Internet, computer programs and foreign tours. This
program also allows you to explore the cultural area
of the country with which your school is working,
participate in international projects, exchange emails and use the Internet.

Some actions within the program.

September 2015 - January 2016
In the first semester of the 2015/2016 school year, new firstgraders were accepted and introduced to the eTwinning
program, who viewed our past accomplishments, projects
completed in previous years, and entered the websites of our
partner schools in Greece, Italy, and Turkey.
Working with beginners in the program consisted mostly on
the translation of texts from the eTwinning platform from
English into Polish so that the new members would
thoroughly familiarize themselves with the assumptions of
the program. At the end of the semester, the pupils
performed their first projects on their vision of Poland on
the international stage, which were sent to partner schools.
Some actions within the program.
 December 2012 - Contacts with students from
Turkey
In December 2012, we received a proposal to enter the
Comenius Project sent by a school from Turkey. The
Mehmet Emin Resulzade Anadolu Lisesi school in
Ankara coordinates the project "Diversity in Union,
Union in Diversity." The school is already working with
Italy, but currently looking for a partner from Poland.
The project will cover the period from September 2013 to
June 2015. Together with Mr. Krzysztof Jończyk Kałuża,
we sent information about our school that is necessary to
complete the Application Form and send it to the
National Agencies of the individual countries
participating in the project.
Some actions within the program.
 June 2012 - Badge for the project "Education
Tourism"
Our "Educational Tourism" project, which we developed
with Mev Ozel Guzelbahce Okullari Lisesi school in
Izmir, Turkey, was awarded the Badge by the Central
eTwinning Action Office in Brussels. We have been
working on this project for 3 years and completed it in
January 2012. The date which is presented on the badge
is based on the day when you send the exact plan and the
first evidence of the schools cooperation, hence the date
of 3rd of February 2010 appears on the badge that we
have received.
