GUESS WHAT? WE HAVE DECIDED TO DO AWAY WITH THE HOLIDAY
HOMEWORK THIS YEAR.
YES! A holiday is supposed to be a break from studies, explanations and completing tasks.
But are holidays supposed to make us irresponsible kids?
So we're going to take up certain responsibilities and also enjoy our holidays with our
families.
1. READ BOOKS in ENGLISH
We have suggested a list of books for different levels. Read them well. Books are your
best friends.

IMPROVE YOUR WRITING
Write 1 page of English & Language (Tamil/ Hindi) every alternate day, and when you're
back to school after the holidays, your handwriting will be the envy of your classmates!
We would love to see your writing practice notebook when you come back.

WALK TOGETHER
Go for walks with the family. You will realize you have 2 of God's greatest gifts….
NATURE and your FAMILY. Do not forget to thank GOD for these gifts.
4.
CULTIVATE MANNERS
Remember the 4 magic words? PLEASE, THANK YOU, SORRY and EXCUSE ME.
Make these a part of your personality.
5.
PLAY OUTDOOR GAMES
Computer games are good. They sharpen your intellect, but what about the rest of your
body?
You do need some exercise, don't you?
Go cycling, play Ludo, Snake and Ladder, catch, hide n' seek, Etc…… anything that will make
you run.
6.
CARE AND CONCERN
Here is your chance to look after your parents, grandparents, elders and even your
younger brothers and sisters. You can surely be of some help around the house and try to
wash your own plates after every meal.
7.
FAMILY CHIT-CHAT
A great Chit- Chat with your precious family is possible when you sit and share your
thoughts with your family. Learn to have at least two meals a day with your parents. Your
parents are the greatest hub with the store house of great number of stories of their lives.
Listen to stories from them and learn from their experience.
8.
FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE
Accompany your Father/ Mother to his/her work place and get a firsthand knowledge
about their job and understand the difficulty behind their hard-earned success and your
today. Value every penny of your parents and do not spend unnecessarily/ lavishly.
9.
SELF DISCIPLINE
Enjoy the unseen creative world by keeping yourself away from TV, Whatsapp, Twitter,
Instagram, Electronic gadgets, Etc.,
10. END NOTE
Now, how do we end our holiday without Math…? Don’t worry; here we have a very simple
task for you…
*** Practice Math and learn your tables :
Class 1 – Number names (1 to 100)
Classes 3 to 5 – Multiplication tables (1 to 10)
Class 2 – Multiplication tables (2 & 3)
Classes 6 - 10 – Multiplication tables (1 to 16)
Have a great holiday and enjoy yourself to your heart's content.
