Hello Oakwood Swim Club,
This letter is to confirm that we have a swim meet scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Forest Hills
Aquatic Park. We are located at the end of Lindsey Drive in Martinez and the directions can be found at
our website: www.fhst.org We have a six-lane pool and a great snack bar.
Please find our Meet Format in the attachment. Our pool insurance doesn’t cover visiting teams. We will
need a copy of your insurance stating that your team is insured at “Forest Hills Aquatic Park” for our pool
board. Please forward by email or bring your team’s certificate of insurance with the additional endorsement
to the meet.
Your head coach should contact our head coach, Gab Flores, to go over details sometime the week

Please note that in order to expedite the meet, FHST will only allow those 8 & under swimmers, who
are competent in their strokes and can swim the entire length of the pool to compete. I.E., the swimmer must
be able to swim 25 yards without stopping, using the lane lines or having coaches in the water for assistance.
We encourage your team to do the same.
Please help us to have a smooth meet by providing the following parent workers. Please note we do not
have an automated timing system so do need timers and recorders to be provided as part of the jobs.
