Region 803 Whew! I’ve registered! Now what happens? What’s the League doing? Immediately after the last registration date, your Region Organizing Team begins the process of putting the teams together for the upcoming season. When this is completed, the uniforms will be ordered and the coaches will be notified. When do the coaches get their team rosters? Coaches will receive their team rosters on August 25th. When do the players get called? Teams may begin practice on or after August 29th. We ask all coaches to contact their teams after they pick up their team materials by September 1st. They will give you all the information you will need in regards to practice times and location. Each coach sets his/her own practice days, time and location. It’s after September 1st, and my child has not been called. What do I do? Please do not panic if your child has not been called. Not all teams begin practice at the same time. Also some coaches may be out of town between August 25th and September 1st. If your child has not been called by September 1st your coach contact is located in eAYSO or you may email us at [email protected] and we will try to reach your coach for you. What else does my child need? The registration fee includes: uniform jersey and socks, supplemental accident insurance, team equipment and referee fees. In addition, you may need to obtain shoes, shin guards (required), a soccer ball (size depends on age) and a water bottle. How often are practices and games? Practices are held once or twice a week (field and times to be determined by your child’s coach). Games will be on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings and Saturdays with most teams playing their first games on September 10th. Games are held at Eau Claire Soccer Park. Refund? Players withdrawing prior to June 10th will be issued a full refund. All requests for a refund must be submitted in writing and accompanied by a selfaddressed stamped envelope. Mail to CVSL P.O. Box 1829 Eau Claire, WI 54702-1829. Late registration? Late registration begins after June 10th. See our web site http://chippewavalleysoccer.org for our Late Registration Policy. Please Remember… AYSO is a parent-based volunteer organization established to provide a POSITIVE experience for our children. Go to the games. Learn the rules. Above all, be tolerant of the children’s coaches and referees mistakes and weaknesses, NEVER talk to our referees and do not joystick, direct or coach your child from the sidelines.
