Show Information: Monty or Tiffinie Mai 785-483-1538 or 785-735-4007 Kick Off Classic General Rules This show is open to any bonafide 4-H or FFA member. Age divisions: Jr (7-10), Intermediate (11-13), and Senior (14-18) based on 4-H age (January 1, 2017) Exhibitors may be required to verify age. Please see copies of the NCKLC Circuit rules posted on the grounds of the Kick Off Classic show for further rules not listed under the Kick Off Classic General Rules. All animals must be shown by the owner listed on the entry form unless they have more than one animal/class. NO PAY NO WEIGH!! NO REFUNDS!! Late and day of show entry fees will cost an additional $10.00/head All entries are accepted with the understanding that the Kick Off Classic Livestock Show Board, the Russell County Extension Council, and/or the Russell County Fair Board are not responsible for any loss or damage that may occur. There will be no alcoholic beverages allowed on the 4-H grounds. NO bedding in the sheep and swine barn, mats only. All market animals will be properly tagged. All breeding heifers and their registration papers will be brought to the beef weigh-in station and checked in. All tattoos and registration papers must match. If a match cannot be made, the heifers will only be allowed to show in the commercial class. NO EXCEPTIONS. If animals are not checked in, they will not show. All heifers must be born on or after September 1, 2015. No unnecessary rough handling of animals will be allowed. The NCKLC is a “no fit” beef show. Blow and go rules will apply. Barns will be open for any exhibitors who wish to bring animals in the night before. Arrangements must be made through the show committee. All pens and areas occupied during the day of the show must be cleaned by the exhibitor. The show committee/board reserves the right to decide on any questions that are not listed in the rules. The decision of the judge is final. Protests or grievances of any kind must be submitted in writing, signed and accompanied by a $200 fee. Anyone with outstanding insufficient funds will not be allowed to enter any NCKLC show until the debt has been paid. Anyone passing an insufficient funds check will be required to pay cash for the current year. Please see the North Central Kansas Livestock Circuit general rules for maximum weights on hogs and sheep. The show committee reserves the right to disqualify any animal from being shown due to disease or illness.
