RULES OF ENGAGEMENT FOR EACH FIELD DAY SPORT
BASKETBALL (max of 5 players)
1. Ball may not be held in back court for more
than 10 seconds. Results in turnover
2. Ball may not go over and back after ball is
handed in. results in turnover
3. Ball must be thrown in behind baseline and
behind sideline. Results in turnover if
touching or passing line.
4. After 3rd team foul, other team gets 2 points
AND the ball.
5. Games will be 7 minutes. Substitutions on
the “FLY”
6. Reaching, tripping, pushing or shoving in
any form are considered fouls.
DODGEBALL (max of 10 players)
1. 7 minute game
2. Balls are placed in the center of the court
3. Players are on each sideline
4. If hit by ball, you are out unless it hit the
ground or wall first (WHEN OUT,
CONTINUOUS CALISTINICS UNTIL
YOU’RE BACK IN…push ups, crunches,
burpees, jumping jacks, etc.)
5. If you throw a ball and the other person
catches it, you are out
7. Double dribbling and traveling will also
result in a turnover.
6. If the ball hits above the neck (person
standing) the person stays in and the
thrower is OUT!
8. You must pass ball, player has 5 seconds to
hold ball.
7. If you catch the ball, one of your
teammates can come back in
9. Tie game will be broken by “shoot-off”

ULTIMATE FOOTBALL (max of 10 players)
CAPTURE THE FLAG (Whole Team)
1. Ball must be thrown to at least 1 girl.
1. No boundaries except the fence
2. Physical contact will resort in jail time
2. If tagged on the opponents side of the
field go to jail
3. 15 pushups to get out of jail
4. 7 completions before touchdown
3. In order to get out of jail a teammate out
of jail you have to walk them to the half
5. Ball touches ground other teams ball
4. Field is split in half at the fifty
6. Ball goes out of bounds goes to other
team
5. Victory is achieved when “attacking”
team reaches flag and raises it in the air.
7. When the ball is caught person can only
move 3 steps
6. Box around flag marked by cones is a
safe zone for attacking team, defending
team cannot enter.
NEED: CONES, Football, Basketball(s),
Dodgeballs, stopwatches, Big schedule/score
sheets
