 Points - each question is worth a maximum of 1,000 points. Combination of speed and accuracy.
When the timer starts counting down, the available point value goes down.

Creating a Kahoot
 Options for Quiz, Discussion, or Survey
o If you have seen Kahoot before, you have likely seen the Quiz. It is the most popular
option.
 Quiz
 Very image based
o Browse for images or drag & drop
o If you don’t choose an image, Kahoot will automatically assign one to your question
 You can add a video as part of the question instead of an image
 Each question can be up to 95 characters (this isn’t much)
o Again, they really want you to focus on images
 Each answer can have up to 60 characters
o You can have up to 4 answers, and as few as 2
o Select correct answer when making a Kahoot
o You can have multiple correct answers – but users can only select one
 You can choose for questions to be worth points or not
 You can set time limit – 5 to 120 seconds

o Edit
 While editing, (at some point) you can go back and re-order questions. Also get
a preview of your questions and options.

The music is super annoying
Leave the option to show the number on – so if someone gets kicked out or
comes in late, they will be able to join back in.

Feedback and Results
o Students can give feedback (rate) the Kahoot at the end.
o You can download results at the end of a Kahoot.

o If you want to access the results later, go to your name on the “My Kahoots” main page
and select “My Results.”

 Playing against yourself to correct mistakes
 If you play Ghost mode multiple times, you will be playing against your most
recent answers. Plus is that if you keep playing, you keep making yourself
answer the correct answers.
