Use your imagination, get creative, or chat with your executive to gain ideas! Keep in mind…while gaming events can be fun, the amount raised for the charities is extremely small compared to your valuable time & efforts. Remember: Almost 95% of all monies raised come from payroll deductions! Holding a less time-consuming CONTEST, or INCENTIVE DRAW, with a selection of various prizes is a super-easy alternative & a really fun way to encourage participation with all workplace colleagues, no matter where they live & work. USE CAUTION IN YOUR ADVERTISING! There is a fine line between incentives & gaming. Ask yourself the following: Is there an element of chance? Is there a cost to participate? Is there a prize of material value? If you can answer YES TO ALL THREE! You have a gaming event! BETTER CALL PECSF! WE RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING USE OF LANGUAGE TO ENSURE A DRAW IS NOT CONSIDERED A GAMING EVENT A pledge to PECSF automatically enters the person into the draw The pledge can be in any form available: Online bi-weekly payroll deduction, online one time payroll deduction, paper pledge form with donation OR EMPLOYEES CAN ‘WRITE-IN’ TO REQUEST TO BE INCLUDED IN THE DRAW WITHOUT A PECSF PLEDGE OR DONATION TO ENTER WITHOUT A PLEDGE: PLEASE HOLDING A ONE-DAY 50/50 GAMINGEMAIL EVENT?
