Time Lesson Progression: (List bullet-points for time allotted, lesson flow, and location of lesson activities/stations.) 45 min Game –Photo Finish (Range & Putting Green) Coaches will introduce the object of today’s play - hold finish until ball comes to rest (and associated penalty strokes for not doing so), evaluate balance on a scale of 1 to 5 for tee shots, and report scores. Coaches will remind PLAYers to greet each other and shake hands before play begins. Hand scorecards with their names on them and asked to exchange scorecards with competitor. PLAYers are responsible for calling a penalty on themselves if they do not hold their finish until the ball comes to rest. Coaches may prompt a PLAYer by asking questions such as, “How was your finish?” and “How was your balance?” PLAYers will report their score, including number of strokes plus any penalty strokes for not holding finish, and score for balance on tee shot. At the completion, PLAYers will need to check their scores and sign their scorecards. •Coaches will reinforce PLAYers to play by the rules and ask PLAYers to treat their competitor with kindness regardless of how they are playing. (15 mins Per Station) Option: Coaches can take pictures during the game, when holding their finish. Print photos and use in clubhouse.
