The Graco Pack ‘n Play was chosen as our unit of choice after several years of providing
safe sleep environments to low-income families throughout Pennsylvania. The Graco
Pack ‘n Play has the approval of the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) and
the Juvenile Products Manufacturer’s Association (JPMA). After the first 3 years of the
program, a study was conducted through the University of Pittsburgh School of Social
Work. At that time we discovered that the Graco Pack ‘n Play was the best choice for
our program for several reasons:

SIZE/CONVENIENCE – The Graco Pack ‘n Play fits into the often very small
apartments in which our families reside. Its bassinet feature allows the caretaker
to have easy access to the infant (up to 15 pounds). Also, when placed next to
the mother’s bed, the only thing separating her from her infant during sleep is the
mesh side of the Pack ‘n Play. When the basinet is removed it continues to
provide a safe sleep environment until the baby reaches 30 pounds.

ASSEMBLY – The Graco Pack ‘n Play assembles easily in minutes with no tools
required;

PORTABILITY – The Graco Pack ‘n Play is easily transported for pick up, to
baby sitter’s homes or when the family moves.

