2-) More than one + Singular Countable Noun + Singular Verb.
E.G
More than one person was in the meeting.
More than one state was in ruins.
3-) More than two/ three etc + Plural Countable Noun + Plural Verb.
E.G
More than two militants were hanged till death.
More than two friends are gathered in the park.
4-) More + Plural Countable Noun + than one + Plural Verb.
E.G
More plans than one were executed.
More actors than one are performing.
5-) With deer, sheep, series, species, fish, crew, team, jury, aircraft and
counsel + Singular Verb or Plural Verb.
E.G
Our team is the best.
Our team are trying their new playing equipments.
