Good News from the ACBL for Younger Players
Players 25 years old and under can now join the ACBL for just $5! The membership
gives you online access to the Bridge Bulletin as well as a new member packet,
educational emails and access to the ACBL Member Perks program. Be a part of the
world’s best bridge organization and join today!
When you’re a member, you also will have free entry to the Youth NABC (for those 19
and younger). This year the events will be held in Toronto from July 27-29.

Good News from Chicago Duplicate Bridge for Students
Students are invited to join Chicago Duplicate Bridge Club for the Discounted Fee of
$10.00. They will enjoy the benefits of Members that include a $1.00 reduction on their
Table Fees while continuing to receive their Student Discount. Student Members will
also be able to enter the Club Championship Events held throughout the year, starting
with the 3rd Semi Annual Individual Club Championship – see below… Winners have a
plaque added to the Perpetual Trophy Plaques mounted just inside the Club Room.

Our inaugural Pot Luck Dinner on January 24th was a huge success with 12 full tables and
an over abundance of food. Plenty of newcomers were welcomed to their first Special
Event and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Beginner, Intermediate/Novice News
Wednesday afternoon’s 199er and Thursday afternoon’s 299er Sections
will continue to be offered – but they need a minimum of 2 tables to run.
Monday’s 99er Section is continuing to be a success. Barry Little’s popular
Supervised Duplicate Sessions continue on Friday mornings at 10am and Saturday’s
499er Section continues.
