Event Planning Using the planning form This form is intended to aid your planning for an event that forms part of the Moving Mountains mission. It will also help your local Champion to schedule events, ensuring we make the best use of the visiting team in your area over the course of the mission. In many cases the leader of the visiting team will be coming to meet with the Champion during the autumn. It will be really helpful if the Champion can see your initial event ideas so they can share them with the visiting team and start to think about how team members can best engage in different events. Each team will have a senior church leader (Bishop, Methodist Chair, etc) and they will bring with them up to 4 people each with valuable experience. We recommend that an initial draft of one form for each event is agreed locally by the church and then shared with the area Champion. Complete a form for every event that you are including in Moving Mountains. Cover existing events you are including and also new / one-off events that you are proposing as part of the mission. You can judge the level of detail that its useful to include in the form, perhaps just capture a few ideas at a first stage. Why not check with your local Champion when they’d need to know your ideas & plans? Please read the guidance booklets carefully before you start planning an event. See: http://www.godforall.org.uk/moving-mountains-resources/ If you have any questions about this form or the planning process please contact your Moving Mountains Champion or Rev Mike Talbot ([email protected] 07767 763715 God for All Evangelism Enabler) 1 Event Planning: complete one form for each event Name of church Named contact of person organising this event Telephone number Email address Name of event and brief description Existing Event used as part of Moving Mountains or new event for Moving Mountains Existing / New Venue Date and time of event (See Moving Mountains Booklet 2 page 7/8) Which level is your event?
