1.
Membership Renewal
The new season for 2011 – 12 has begun and most of the members have renewed their membership.
For those who are interested to continue playing rugby, please complete the renewal form to register for
the new season, together with 2 photos, ID or Birth Certificate copy and renewal fee of HKD450.
Please provide the ID / birth certificate as soon as possible if you have not done so.

New List of Committee Members
The committee members for the year 2011-12 have been elected during the Annual Dinner held on 16
April. All committee members voluntee to carry out all administrative and financial duties of the Club.
All valuable opinion from the parents is welcome.
3.
Grade Arrangement of the Players
Grade arrangement is made according to the year of birth of the players. The players cannot switch to
another grade without application to and approval from the Club. Grade arrangement for the year is as
follows:

Insurance
Insurance has been brought for all players between the age of 4 to 19 (Colt) by the HKFRU. If any
player is injured during practice or matches, the parent can put forward medical claim in accordance to
the insurance terms. However, all claims must be submitted within 7 days of the incident, together
with the medical report from a General Practitioner. The Club will submit the claim to HKFRU on
behalf of the player.
5.
Refund of 2010 – 11 Match Deposit
For those who have paid deposit for matches can now claim back the HKD50.00 with their receipt on
hand. Deadline for the refund is 28 August 2011.
6.
Practice Arrangement

: 9:00 am – 11:30 am
(If the player arrives after 9:30 am, the concerned practice session will not be counted towards his/her
attendance)
For the months of September to December, all practices will be at the Causeway Bay Playground
except for tournament day.
7.
Practice Arrangement
Due to maintenance and repair work to be carried out in Causeway Bay Playground from June 1 and
July 24, no practice for the said period.

Wu Kai Sha YMCA Youth Village has many facilities including a gymnasium, auditorium
(karaoke), swimming pool, archery range, children's playground, electronic game room and all
kinds of ball games such as badminton, table tennis, snooker, mini tennis and basketball. We
have reserved the hall for Saturday evening to have group games.
Interested parties please register as soon as possible as seats are limited.
10. Qingdao Tour
It has been confirmed that a visit to the Qingdao Shark Rugby Club will be made on 23 – 27
July for promotion / exchange purposes and sightseeing (Lao Shan, Qingdao Beer etc).
Interested parties please register on or before 22 May and pay 50% for tour cost. Tour costs:
Adult HKD5,000; Child HKD4,500; Coach and committee members HKD4,500 and Players
HKD4,000. The costs include tips. Detail itinerary and transport arrangement will be made
after the confirmation of actual no. of participants. Whether matches will be arranged depends
on your support and participation.
