My Trip to Catalina Island
by Iseah in second grade
Last Friday it was my mom’s birthday
and we went to Catalina Island. We rented a
golf cart and went to the mountains to take
pictures. We got ice-cream with candy and
walked around. We went on a boat and saw
some fish. We went to the beach and I
collected rocks and we ate hamburgers. It was
a great trip!
What I Got at Target
by Dashel in second grade
On Friday I went to Target and I got a
Happy Place Shopkins. The Happy Places
Shipkins were big and it had a house that went
with them. I also got a real life pet. The real
life pet had a bottle and it could breath, drink,
sleep, bark, and move. Well, it really wasn’t
real, it was a toy. It could do real stuff like a
real puppy could do, like breath drink, sleep,
bark, and move it’s head. The real life pet was
like a robot, but it wasn’t a robot, it was a
puppy!
From all of the staff here at GEA 2, have a
fantastic winter break and don’t forget to have your
child read every day for at least 20 minutes and
practice the spelling words for our Spelling Bee
contest when we come back. We will see you on
Tuesday, January 3rd.
