water the plants.
Talk about what

rhyme except one.

dot 10 cardboard
pieces. Can keiki
can clip the correct

pins to each piece?

keiki cut out triangles and squares.
Let her try making
patterns.

Ask your keiki to
draw a picture of
himself. Let him
know it’s called a
“self-portrait.”

together using
empty glass bottles or jars and
metal spoons.

on different sides
of a large box. Fill
old socks w/sand
or rice to toss into
the openings.

draw a hopscotch
pattern on pavement. Have keiki
name each number
and hop on it.

soda bottles with a
cup of sand, & cap.
Line them up and
let her use a ball to
knock it down.

bubble bath tonight. Let her
scoop the bubbles
up with her hands
or hide her toys.

read a story with
your keiki.

insert a popsicle
stick in each cube
when half frozen.

the yard with keiki
& find objects to

about weight, texture, shape, etc.

her own. Write
exactly what she

Use an old sock and let your
keiki glue on buttons, felt
pieces, tissue paper, cotton or
scraps of fabric. You can also
use permanent felt pens to
draw a face or color the body.
Sock puppets are limited only
by your children’s imagination,
so let them explore and be
creative. Assist if needed.
