This newsletter is designed to keep
players and families informed and up to
date with issues and activities associated
with junior cricket.
Registrations for 2013/14
Registrations days will be held on the
Saturdays of 7 and 14 September
between the hours of 9.00am and
12.00pm outside the Hastings Co-op
Department Store, High Street,
Wauchope.
You can also register prior to this date by
post. Forms, with all relevant details are
available on the Wauchope RSL Cricket
Club website at
wauchope.nsw.cricket.com.au. Forms
are also available from Wauchope Sports
and Trophies.

Fees for the 2013/14 season are:

Parents may also become members of
the Wauchope RSL Cricket Club for an
additional cost of $5.00. Total fees
include include player’s payment for the
annual presentation.
All new players will be given a cap and
playing shirt. Existing players will be
given a replacement shirt / cap as
required. White cricketing pants need to
be worn during matches
An additional registration day for
In2Cricket (skills based program for
players 5-7 years) will be held on
Thursday 19 September from 4.00pm to
5.00pm at Andrews Park.
Teams
Cost $65 to be paid on registration. This
program will be conducted on Fridays
commencing on 11 October between
4.00pm to 5.00pm at Andrews Park

The intention of this ensures all team
members get a go during a match and
some moving of extra players between
teams / grades may become necessary
to ensure these numbers.
It is the policy of the Wauchope RSL
Cricket Club that when two teams are
nominated in the one age group, they will
be selected so that they are equal ability.
Players registering for the Opens division
will be graded into teams.
Age eligibility
All age divisions are based on the
players age at 1 September 2013. For
example a player aged 10 by 31 August
2013 must play Under 11’s, but a player
turning 10 on or after 1 September 2013
will be still eligible for the Under 10 age
group.
Girls may player in competitions up to 3
years below their chronological age.
Coaches / Managers
All teams will be looking for coaches and
managers. If you have an interest or
skills in these areas, your assistance
would be greatly appreciated. Please
register your interest at registration or
with any of the Committee.
Volunteer assistance will also be
required on match days for scorers and
square leg umpires. If interested in these
roles, please advise the coach or
manager of the team when these
positions have been filled.
Meetings
Monthly meetings of the Junior
Committee are held on the last Tuesday
of the month at the Wauchope RSL Club.
Dates are advised on our website. All
interested persons are welcome to
attend and your input would be welcome.
Coaching clinics
Opens Division
Players wishing to play above the Under
13 age group must register for the Opens
division. Once registrations are complete
the Wauchope RSL Cricket Club will
grade these players into ability based on
teams. The teams will then play in
competitions against Port Macquarie,
Camden Haven and Beechwood teams
of similar ability.
The Hastings River District Junior Cricket
Association will conduct a coaching clinic
on 24 and 25 September 2013.

August 2013 and also at our registration
days.
Sponsors
To play in the Opens division players
must be a minimum of 12 years of age
on 1 September 2013 and must be under
the age of 16 on the same date. Only
strong (MNC representative level)
players of 12 years of age should
nominate for the Opens division with
most players of this age expected to play
in the Under 13 competition.
