The Mark
The Game Developers Choice Award mark consists of the typography,
the star symbol and the box housing them. None of these three
components should be separated from the other two, nor repeated.
The typography "House Gothic", and its individual characters should
not be reproduced outside of the mark. The mark's distinction is
derived from the unique style of these characters and using them
outside of the mark, for instance as a headline treatment on a piece of
collateral, would dilute the individuality and impact of the mark.
A drop shadow (30% screen of black or PMS 446) can be used when
the mark needs to stand off a background.
Primary Color Palette
The Game Developers Choice Award mark consists of 2 colors:
Charcoal gray and Red. When printing it is preferable to specify spot
colors.

Version of the Mark
Depending on the limitations of a given application, the mark can
reproduce in 2-color, 1-color, black only, or reverse. When reproduced
on a white background, the 2-color version is preferred. When
reproduced on a black background (or dark background greater than
50% gray in value), the reversed version should be used.

The font family, Agenda, is flexible and friendly. It is suitable for

Pattern
The pattern consists of dynamic shapes shown in a "wireframe" style.
The shapes reproduce as a 70% screen of an accent color on top of a
100% field of the same accent color (or 30% screen value on a field of
white).
The pattern can be scaled up or down, can be cropped into, tiled,
flipped and repeated. The pattern can be used in conjunction with
fields of solid color. It is subtle enough so that an image, graphic or
even type can be legible on top of it.
