Mrs A M Butler-Willis
Headteacher
Year 1
Dear Parents,
As part of this term’s cross- curricular topic work we have planned a trip to Wellington Country Park on Tuesday 20th
June.
As well as looking around the park and visiting the animals, the children will take part in activities that complement the
Year 1 science curriculum.
We will leave school, by coach, at 9.15 and return by 3pm. The children should:

Bring a suitable coat (or sun hat) as appropriate

Bring a named water bottle

Wear school uniform
All Children are entitled to a free packed lunch (see over). Please indicate whether your child would like this, on the slip
below.
The cost is £13.00 per child. This comprises £6.85 entrance fee and around £7.00 for the coach, with a subsidy from the
PTFA. Although the cost for school trips is voluntary, if we do not have sufficient funds to cover the cost, we will be
forced to cancel.
Please sign and return the permission slip below with the money by Monday 12th June.
Thank you
Mrs Povey, Mrs Owen and Mrs Boudier
