This Tournament is a Match Play Event, with each match
being played over 18 holes. In the event of there being a tie in
a match after 18 holes, sudden death extra holes will be
played starting at the 1st hole.
Play shall be in accordance with the Rules of Golf of R&A Rules
Ltd, Conditions of Competition and Local Rules of Prince’s Golf
Club. The match should be played from the white tees stated
for the competition.
Matches should be completed by the start date of the following
round.
The top name throughout the draw will have ’home’
advantage and the choice of layout. The player with the home
advantage must offer 3 dates, one which must include a
weekend to his opponent. Failure to do this by the 15th day
after the previous closing date will automatically transfer the
choice to the opponent.
Both players are responsible for ensuring the match is
completed on or before the played by date, failure to do so
may result in disqualification of both players.
Please note that if you wish to play on a Saturday or Sunday,
times can only be booked from 11am onwards.
Notification of the result must be made by the winner of the
match to the Professional shop immediately after play and the
‘Tournament’ match play draw MUST be updated.
