Texas Hold’em & Omaha Poker
Introduction
Win the pot in Texas Hold’em! Either with the highest hand or when
all the other players have folded.
The Game
In the first round of Texas Hold’em, you are dealt two hole cards
(face-down). If you see a chance for a good hand – keep on playing!
The five additional cards dealt in the following rounds are common
cards (the board). They are placed face-up in the centre of the table
and can be used by all players for their Poker hands. In the second
round, the flop (three cards simultaneously) is uncovered and the
players make their decisions. At the next stage, the turn card and
river card are dealt, each followed by a betting round.
The Button
The “button“ is a special feature of Hold’em games. It indicates the
theoretical dealer and shows who has to post the blinds, as well
as the first and last player to make his/her decision. The button is
passed on, clockwise, after each hand.
Blinds
To get the game of Texas Hold’em moving and stimulate betting,
so-called blinds (small blind/big blind – bets made before the cards
are dealt) are placed. This is not required of all players just the two
to the left of the theoretical dealer.
Showdown
The showdown reveals which player has the best hand and wins the
pot. In Texas Hold’em you can use any combination of your two hole
cards and the board to form your hand.
Omaha
In Omaha, you receive four hole cards in the first round. You must
use two of your hole cards and three cards from the board to form
a winning hand.

Seven Card Stud Poker
Introduction
Seven Card Stud Poker – Try your luck with the classic of all Poker
variations!
The Game
After you have placed your ante, you will receive two hole (face-down)
cards and one face-up. The guest with the highest face-up card is
the first to play.
Now you can call, raise or fold.
In the second round, all players receive an additional card face-up
and the guest with the highest face-up card is the first to place his/
her bet.
All players then receive a third and fourth card face-up, with each
round being followed by a betting round.
After this, each player is dealt the final card – this time, face-down –
followed by the last betting round.
If two or more players remain in the game, the showdown begins.
Showdown
Each player creates the best possible hand with five of his total of
seven cards. The croupier awards the pot to the winner and a new
game can begin.

Easy Hold’em
Introduction
Anybody who likes Texas Hold’em will love Easy Hold’em. It is very
simple and offers good chances: You do not play against many other
guests but only against the bank. And the best thing is that you can
start any time you want and don’t have to wait until a Poker round has
come together. A place is reserved for you at the Easy Hold’em table.
Place your bets.
The Game
Easy Hold’em is a variant of the popular Texas Hold’em Poker game.
The rules are more or less the same. The only difference: You do not
have many opponents but just one – the bank. First of all, you place
your ante and receive two cards face down (hole cards) – as do all
the other guests and the croupier. Following this, five cards are dealt
face up (common cards): First three (flop), then one (turn) and finally
the fifth card (river). The best hand of five is formed from the player’s
own hidden cards and the common cards and compared with the
croupier’s. You win if you have a better hand than the croupier.
Betting
After receiving the two hole cards face down, you can decide whether
you want to continue playing or not. If you do, you place a bet in the
amount of the ante on the field marked “flop”. The croupier takes the
ante of all the players who withdraw from the game. The flop is then
turned up on the table. If you are satisfied with your hand, you place
an additional bet in the amount of the ante or check (continue without
placing any other bets). You can also choose to do this before the
river card.
Payoff
The showdown takes place when all the cards are on the table.
The croupier compares his hand with those of the guests,
from right to left.
Equal Hand
The guest’s bets are returned.
Higher Hand
All bets on flop, turn and river are paid out at a ratio of 1 : 1.
The ante bets are paid out if you win with a straight or better hand.

Tropical Stud Poker
Introduction
Tropical Stud Poker offers an additional chance to win through the
so-called Bonus Bet.
The Game
Sit down at one of the seven boxes and place your bet in the ante
box. The aim of the game is to have a better hand than the croupier.
The croupier now deals you five cards face-down. He also receives
five cards, one of which he turns up. You look at your cards and
decide whether to continue playing or fold. If you want to go on, you
simply place double the amount of the ante stake into the bet box. If
you fold, your stake is held by the bank.
In addition, you can change one of your cards for the amount of your
ante.
After all the players have placed their bets, the croupier collects the
stakes of all those who have folded and turns his remaining cards
face-up.
Now, the croupier has to qualify in order to remain in the game. For
this, he needs at least an Ace and a King in his hand. If not, all the
players remaining in the game are paid their ante stakes at a ratio of
1 : 1 and their betting stakes are returned.
If the croupier is able to qualify, the showdown begins. This means
that each hand is compared individually with the croupier’s. If the
croupier’s hand is higher, the ante and betting stakes go to the bank.
If your hand is higher than the croupier’s, your ante will be paid out
at a ratio of 1 : 1. The winnings will be paid in accordance with the
following table:

Tournaments
In addition to the great variety of cash games, more than 500
tournaments with prize money of close to 10 million euros are held
at the 12 Austrian casinos.
In a Poker tournament, all the participants pay an entry fee – the socalled buy-in – and, in return, receive a fixed number of tournament
chips.
The level of the ante is determined according to a prescribed schedule
and increased. Each player remains in the game for as long as he
has chips in his possession. Should a player lose all of his chips, he
withdraws from the tournament.
The winners receive a part of the prize pool. The division of the prize
pool and the ranking of the winnings are determined before the start
of the tournament according to a proportional scheme.
We are proud of our events with their high prize money that also
enjoy great international recognition.
The best known and largest tournament is the Casinos Austria Poker
Tour (CAPT) with the European Poker Championship as its highlight.
We also take just as much pleasure in the numerous other tournament
events with their smaller prize pools.
