Repairing a Scratch On
Air Hockey Play Field
Step 1:
Using the supplied marker, color in the
exposed wood. This will help blend the
damaged area in with the rest of the
playing surface.
Step 2:
Remove the cap of the supplied tube of 5minute epoxy. Cut off the ends of the
syringe.
Step 3:
Push the plunger on the syringe and
squeeze out equal parts onto a piece of
cardboard or paper.
After you are done with the epoxy,
replace the plug on the tips of the syringe.

Step 4:
Mix the parts together using one of the
supplied cotton swabs for approximately
1 minute.
Take care in working with the epoxy.
Please refer to manufacturers instructions
on back of package.
Step 5:
Using the cotton swap fill in the damaged
portion of the table as evenly as possible.
**Please note that if the damage includes
the air channel, you must insert a
drinking straw lengthwise into the hole to
prevent blockage of the airflow. If the air
channel is a factor, the depth of the
damage will be approximately 3/8”***
Step 6:
With the gap filled with the epoxy, use
the supplied rubber scraper to remove any
excess epoxy and level off the damaged
area. Use a cloth with soap & water to
remove any excess epoxy residue from
the playing surface

Step 7:
After the epoxy has cured (approximately
5 minutes), use the supplied sandpaper to
smooth the repaired area. Take care
when sanding to avoid the playing
surface.
Step 8:
Apply a small amount of the supplied
plastic polish to the repaired area.
Step 9:
With a soft cloth, apply the polish to the
affected area in a circular motion until
dry

Step 10:
Buff the area with a clean dry cloth
