4. TOURNAMENT RULES
: System of Play, The tournament will be conducted as per
01:00 PM 15th FEBRUARY 2014
04:00 PM 18th FEBRUARY 2014
FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 9 rounds
with time control of 60 minutes + 30sec. Increment from
move No.1.
: Tie Break, In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come
into effect. The cash prizes however will not be shared.
: Appeals Committee, Five members’ appeals committee
shall be formed. No member of the committee can vote on
dispute in which a player from his own District is involved
and in such case (s), the reserve can take his place in the
committee.
: Protest, if any, against the decision of the Chief Arbiter,
shall be made in writing with protest fee of ` 1,000/- within
30 minutes of the occurrence of incident. Protest fee will be
refunded, if the appeal is upheld.
: No request towards waiver of entry fee will be entertained.
: The organizers have the right to reject any entry without
assigning any reason thereof.

7. ELIGIBILITY & ENTRY FEE
: Must be registered with All India Chess Federation ® and
All Jharkhand Chess Association ® and to claim the age
categories prizes and verification of age rules will be
followed as per federation guidelines.

10. ACCOMMODATION
: Dormitory type chargeable Rs.300/- and at Hotel Raj
Heritage accommodation on triple sharing basis chargeable
Rs.500/- for entire tournament period.
11. FOODING
: On payment basis chargeable Rs.500/- inclusive of Tea,
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for entire tournament period.
