Welcome to the 2017 Season – Information Sheet
Dear Rockets Players and Parents,
I would like to take this chance to welcome you to the 2017 football season. Registrations will be
open online from 3rd January 2017 and we would like to see all of you back at the Launchpad for
another season.
Please note that all registration fees for 2017 are available on our club website for your information.
Discounted registration fees apply until 11.59pm on 05/02/2017. After this full registration fees
apply, which are significantly higher.
New Photographs this year (2017) are required for all the following:
- ALL U10 Boys & Girls and W10 Girls.
- ALL U14 Boys & W14 Girls.
- ALL U18 Boys & W18 Girls.
- ALL NEW players U10 and older.
- ALL Returning Players whose photo is more than 3 years old.
- Or any player whose photo is not in the myfootballclub system or is not of an acceptable
standard/quality. Photos must be updated by Friday 10th March to be included in a team.

Uniform orders this year will be able to be made on line. See our clubs website for more
details. For U6’s through All age.
Uniforms will be distributed to your coach and/or manager prior to the commencement of the
season.
Accident Support Scheme (ASS) - remains the same as last year. If you have an accident please
ensure you report it to the club secretary (Chris Harvey) as soon as possible. He will advise and
arrange forms for you to make a claim.
Grading – All SSF and Junior Teams are graded. Grading is mandatory and dates are on the reverse
side of this document.
Training for U6’s and U7’s
At the Rockets all our Under 6s and Under 7s teams train together on a Tuesday evening between
5pm-6pm. This ensures that all the children in each age group get to know each other and enables
the coaches and managers to help each out and run more meaningful coaching sessions.
Training All Teams other than U6’s and U7’s (Coaches should request times with club secretary)
Once your coach is appointed by the committee you will be contacted regarding training times / day
and when training will commence. No official training may commence before 6th March 2017.
