How to Personalize Template
• Find picture or clip art that you want
• Open PowerPoint and go to “View” and select “Slide
Master”.
• Insert the picture or clip art that you want and make
sure it fills the entire slide
• Send the photo to the back so that you can see the
words on top of it
• Change the transparency so that they words stand out
• Change view back to normal
• Save this as a .potx and this will save it as a template
How to Change Bullet Point
҉To change the shape of the bullet point click
on the home tab and go to where the bullet
point sections is a click on “Bullets and
Numbering”
҉In this you can click on customize and pick a
symbol
҉You can also change the color by clicking on
the color option
How to Insert and Automatically Play
Audio
҉Go to the “Insert” tab and click on the audio
option
҉For Mac go to the animation tab and select
the play option and then select “with
preview”
҉For Windows go to the playback tab and
select it to start automatically
҉If you don’t want it to be visible then drag it
off the slide

҉Go to the “Insert” tab and clip on the video
option
҉Drag the video where ever you want it on the
slide
҉Go to the “Animations” tab and make it play
“with preview”

Animations
• Go to the “Animations/Transitions” tab
• Transitions usually effect all of the slides, but
can be set individually
• Animations can be per bullet point or it can be
the entire slide
• Always check it in the slide show setting to
make sure everything is correct

҉Go to the “Add Shapes” button and click on
the “Action Button”
҉Drag the action button over the entire slide or
where ever you want it
҉Hyperlink it to the next slide
҉Turn off the fill and turn off the line to make it
invisible

҉To white out the screen during a presentation,
click the “W” key
