with detailed instructional videos on our products!
1. How do I change the language?
- You can choose your language when setting up your CB-300 for the first time.
- You can go to ‘settings’ via the home-screen and find “Language & Input” in order to
change the Language. If there is any further confusion feel free to contact us.
2. How do I use the CB-300 Touchpad?
- When using one finger you are in ‘mouse mode’, when using two fingers you are in ‘drag
mode’. You can also use the provided wireless mouse for extra functionality.
3. How do I turn the brightness/sound up or down?
- On the left side of the home-screen, you will find a “brightness” icon, select this button
and slide left or right to turn the brightness down or up.
- For sound, you will find a separate icon on the home-screen. You can also change this via
the “Settings” and choose “sound”, and adjust it as you want.
4. Why is the picture or video not clear?
- This may be due to the focus wheel not being properly calibrated! Scroll the wheel to the
right of your physical device and ensure that the focus is correct.
5. Why is the image a little too dark?
- The CB-300 has a brightness of up to 300 ANSI Lumens/ 1800 ISO Lumens. You can follow
the 3rd question in this FAQ to adjust the brightness. You may also want to keep your CB-300
plugged in directly, this will allow for maximum brightness, however thee cooling system
may make more noise.
6. How do I use the Keystone Correction?
- Manual ‘keystone’ correction is on the left of the home-screen, just under the brightness
icon. Click on it to adjust the image when moving the projector up or down.
7. How can I adjust the resolution?
- Resolution is something that cannot be adjusted, we suggest using the CB-300 in as dark
an environment as possible in order to enjoy the greatest quality.
8. Why is the Cooling System so loud?
- After turning up the brightness to maximum, the projector must work hard in order to
maintain an operable temperature. Naturally the cooling system must work harder in order
to successfully vent the extra heat while maintaining optimal performance. Many people
find it best to run the projector on 80% brightness, this will keep the cooling system quiet,
while maintaining optimal system performance.
9. Why can’t I use Google Play Store? YouTube? Netflix? Spotify? Facebook? Etc.?
- Firstly, make sure that you are properly connected to your local Wi-Fi, and check signal
strength. Secondly, you may need to update your Google services, YouTube, or other other
applications. You may also need to register or sign-in to the Google Play Store, while other
services may require an initial purchase before being able to launch properly.
10. Why is the screen/movie on delay when connected via my iPhone, iPad, or Macbook?
Due to Airplays powerful system requirements, often enough a regular Wi-Fi router is
insufficient. A powerful router will fix any of these issues. However, if you still wish to use
this feature then we suggest turning off any and all devices that are connected to the same
router, aside from the projector and your Apple Airplay connected device. We would also
suggest utilising the included Mini-HDMI to HDMI cable.
11. Can I use the CB-300 to project my PowerPoint/Word/Excel documents?
- Absolutely! We recommend using the preinstalled “WPS” application on the projector,
which supports a multitude of Microsoft Office friendly documents. For further information,
please read Question 16.
12. How do I use the “program manager” on the bottom task bar?
- Program manager is the second icon from the left on the home-screens taskbar. This is
used for managing windows and applications that you no longer wish to run, or for quick
and easy access. You can find the exact page you are looking for by dragging the windows
up and down, until you have found what you are looking for.
13. How do I use the shortcut function, and how can I find the shortcut to my images?
