Altar Servers
Thanks to all our wonderful servers who
helped make the Christmas Masses
prayerful and a rich celebration of the
Nativity of the Lord. On Saturday 21 January,
we will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving at
the 12:15 Friary Mass. Anyone due to be
enrolled in the guild of St Stephen should let
the parish office know so we can ensure a St
Stephen's medal is ready for you. We can
always welcome more servers, and at the
Friary especially we are looking for Adult
MCs for all our Masses. If you can help
speak to a member of the Parish Team.

How to bring our Parishes from
Maintenance to Mission
DABCEC
has organised a one day
course on Saturday 21 January from 10am4pm,
at
DABCEC Crawley.
Guest
Speaker: Michael Roche (Alpha in a
Catholic Context). He will explore how we
can make our parishes more responsive
to
the
call
of
the
New
Evangelisation. He will draw on lessons
from the “Divine Renovation" books. These
make suggestions as to how we might
change the culture within our Parishes, so
as to create the right conditions for
Evangelisation to take place. Book: 01293

Ministry to the Sick & Housebound
Thank you to our Extraordinary Ministers of
Holy Communion for all the assistance they
give us during our liturgical celebrations. A
special thank you to all those ministers who
take Holy Communion to the sick and the
housebound. If any Extraordinary Minister
not currently taking Holy Communion to the
sick and / or housebound can visit 1 or 2
people who live near them, please let
Sr Hannah know.
Sick & Housebound
Please tell the Parish Office if you are or
become housebound so that regular
communion can be brought to you by an
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.
You can also, through your communion
visitor, request a visit from one of the Parish
Team.
Going into Hospital - Crawley, East
Surrey or elsewhere
Please remember, that if you or a family
member is due to go into hospital, the
parish team is not automatically informed.
Please let the Parish Office know if you are
going into hospital and where possible let
them know the ward you will be on. If you
find yourself in hospital tell your nurse that
you are a Catholic and would like a visit
from the Hospital Chaplaincy.
School Supplementary Information

to submit your supplementary information

signed by a priest, please telephone the
office for an appointment on Monday.
Alternatively, Fr Simon will be available in
the Priest's House at the Friary on Monday
9th Jan at 7pm and will countersign your

"Yellow Forms": Requests to Book a Date
A sign of a vibrant community is that we get
many requests for events over our six church
communities. To ensure that we can allocate
appropriate resources and avoid clashes,
please submit a "Yellow Form" (available at
the back of the churches) to the priests'
house in order that we can discuss the
proposed event at our Friday team meetings.
