2016 Water Safety Week Competition – PLAY IT SAFE BY THE WATER CAMPAIGN “Best Marketing of Water Safety” By entering this competition, you could win some amazing prizes for your facility! Entering is simple – Step 1. Your task is to demonstrate the best marketing campaign for water safety. The competition is open to your unique interpretation and portrayal of water safety and its relevant messages. This entitles your facility to run either a competition, make a display, decorate your facility, develop an ad or video, create jingles, submit photos, plan educational programs or run something fun and safe in your facility. The list is endless. It’s completely up to you, think outside the square as to how you would like to market water safety out to your community and facility users, however make sure you have the “Play It Safe By The Water” logo present when thinking about representing the key messages – alternatively, you may wish to take a series of photos including a short explanation of the promotion and awareness of Water Safety to be posted on the ARV Facebook Page. Step 2. Head to our Aquatics and Recreation Victoria Facebook page www.facebook.com/aquaticsandrecreation (If your centre does not have Facebook, that is fine, send your entry to ARV via [email protected] and we shall post it on your behalf) Step 3. Advertise your entry to widen the promotion and marketing of water safety. So get your ‘Play it Safe by the Water’ thinking caps on and start coming up with great ideas to help promote and spread the Play it Safe by the Water messages at your centre and in the local community. *NOTE – Judging will be comprised of a panel of independent judges. Competition closes 5pm on 30 November 2016
