Contact: Matt Dougherty, NFHCA Director of Communications Email: [email protected] For Immediate Release: Nov. 2, 2016 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division II Senior Game Roster Announced CHANDLER, Ariz. – The 2016 Victory Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II Senior Game roster was announced on Wednesday with 50 student-athletes selected as either participants or alternates for the contest held on Saturday, November 19th at 3 p.m. (Eastern) at Stonehill College. The 38 participants for the contest are listed below, followed by the 12 alternates. Alternates would take the spot of student-athletes who have been selected as participants but are unable to compete in the Senior Game. All student-athletes are listed in alphabetical order. 2016 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division II Senior Game Participants Saint Anselm defender Elizabeth Alie – An NFHCA Second-Team All-American as a junior, Alie has started all 18 games on the back line for the Hawks this season. East Stroudsburg goalkeeper Danielle Ard – Ard started all 22 games for East Stroudsburg’s national championship squad in 2015, and has a 0.71 goals against average and .838 save percentage this year. Saint Anselm defender Jennifer Brown – Brown has been a key member of the Saint Anselm defense with starts in all 18 games, making every start for the Hawks for the third straight season. Bloomsburg goalkeeper Lindsay Cassel – Cassel earned NFHCA Second-Team All-America status in goal last season, and has a strong senior year with a .864 save percentage and 0.76 goals against average. Adelphi defender Rachel Colvin – Colvin was an NFCHA Second-Team All-American and Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Year last season, and has started all 80 games in her career for the Panthers. Saint Michael’s forward Abby Dusha – Dusha has six goals and 14 points this season to lead the Purple Knights in both categories for the second year in a row. Merrimack defender Lizz Egan – Egan leads the Warriors with six defensive saves this season and has appeared in all but two games over the past two years. East Stroudsburg defender Morgan Firestine – Firestine has started all 17 contests in which she has appeared this season after also starting on the back line for last year’s national championship winner. Stonehill midfielder Shea Healy – Healy has six goals and five assists while starting all 18 contests this season, and has come up big with three game-winning goals for the Skyhawks. Millersville forward Olivia Hershey – An NFHCA First-Team All-American as a junior, Hershey has posted three goals and three assists in 16 appearances this season. East Stroudsburg defender Emily Howell – Howell earned NFHCA First-Team All-America status last season, and has continued to shine with six goals and four assists from the back line this year. Bloomsburg defender Eleanor Kirby – Kirby has played in every contest over the course of her four-year career, and has started all 19 games for the Huskies this season. Assumption midfielder Andrea Koslowski – Koslowski has been a consistent starter for the Greyhounds in each of the last three seasons, and has tallied four goals and four assists in 2016. West Chester forward Marnie Kusakavitch – Kusakavitch was an NFHCA Second-Team All-American as a junior and has tallied 12 goals and six assists for the Golden Rams this season. Mansfield goalkeeper Laura Lawson – Lawson led the nation in saves per game as both a sophomore and junior, and is second nationally this season with 9.89 saves per contest. East Stroudsburg midfielder Desiraye Mack – Mack has tallied seven goals and two assists for the topranked Warriors in 2016 after earning NFHCA First-Team All-America recognition last year. Merrimack midfielder Kate McCauley – McCauley helped Merrimack make the national title game last season while starting in 22 games, and has also started every contest this season. Slippery Rock forward Megan McKay – McKay has led Slippery Rock in scoring in each of the last two seasons, putting up 27 goals and 10 assists in that span. LIU Post midfielder Stephanie Mocerino – Mocerino has started for the Pioneers in each of the last three seasons, and has five goals and six assists to rank third on the squad with 16 points as a senior. Stonehill defender Sarah Morse – Coming off a junior year where she earned NFHCA First-Team AllAmerica honors, Morse has started every game on the back line for the Skyhawks this season. Bellarmine forward Kelsey O’Bryan – Named an NFHCA Second-Team All-American in 2015, O’Bryan has put together another solid season as a senior with six goals and seven assists for the Knights. Millersville defender Taylor Parker – Parker earned NFHCA Second-Team All-America status in her junior season, and has started all 19 games with three goals and two assists this year. West Chester midfielder Dayle Paustian – Paustian has been in the starting lineup for the Golden Rams over the last three seasons, and has six goals and eight assists in 2016. Bloomsburg forward Samantha Peters – Peters leads the Huskies with 12 goals and 26 points this season after also pacing the squad with seven goals and 16 points a year ago. Adelphi forward Lena Pollich – Pollich has nine goals and a team-high nine assists this season for the Panthers after earning NFHCA Second-Team All-America recognition last year. Pace defender Brittany Predmore – Predmore was in the starting lineup throughout her two seasons at Pace, including all 18 contests in 2016. LIU Post midfielder Melissa Quintanilla – Quintanilla has three goals and three assists while starting all but one contest this season and playing in 75 games in the span of her four-year career. American International forward Taylor Ruscillo – Ruscillo was a key player for the Yellowjackets over the last three seasons, starting nearly every contest and recording 19 goals and six assists. Lindenwood forward Tara Robben – Robben has enjoyed an outstanding senior season with 18 goals and six assists to lead the Lions after totaling 11 goals and five assists the previous two years. LIU Post midfielder Abi Sawyer – Despite being limited to six games this season, Sawyer has enjoyed an impressive career at LIU Post with starts in every game in the previous two years. Saint Anselm goalkeeper Katherine Sears – Sears has started all 37 games in goal for the Hawks over the past two seasons, posting a 30-7 overall record in that span. Bellarmine forward Kathryn Schneidtmiller – Schneidtmiller leads the Knights with 12 goals and 29 points for the season after ranking second on the team in both categories last year. Limestone defender Kathleen Sigwart – Sigwart has started nearly every game since her freshman season, including all 18 in her senior campaign. Merrimack defender Sarah Sparks – Sparks has started all but one game for the Warriors over the past three seasons, and has four defensive saves to her credit this year. East Stroudsburg forward Robin Stevenson – Stevenson leads the top-ranked Warriors with 11 goals and 23 points this season after playing a key role on last year’s national champion squad. Kutztown defender Jessica Strohecker – After missing the 2015 season, Strohecker has come back with a goal and two assists while starting all 18 contests in 2016. Millersville midfielder Margaret Thorwart – Thorwart has six goals and a team-high six assists for the Marauders in 2016 after also dishing out a team-high six assists last year. Kutztown midfielder Courtney Ueberroth – Ueberroth started all 18 games for the Bears in 2016, marking the second straight year that she pulled off that feat. 2016 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division II Senior Game Alternates Mercy forward Jackie Ballin – Ballin has been a key player for Mercy in all four of her seasons, notching 25 goals and 13 assists in her four-year career with team-highs of eight goals and five assists this season. West Chester defender Nikki Bennett – Bennett has been a key player on the back line for West Chester over the last two seasons, starting all 19 games this year with a goal and six assists. Mercyhurst midfielder Emily Burns – Burns was an NFHCA Second-Team All-American as a sophomore in 2014 and started all but one game in her four-year collegiate career. Bloomsburg defender Alexis Carroll – Carroll has started all 55 games in her three seasons for the Huskies, and leads the team with six defensive saves this year. Franklin Pierce midfielder Andrea Fahey – Fahey played in every game and started all but four in her collegiate career, with starts in all 17 contests for the Ravens in 2016. Southern Connecticut State midfielder Zoe Fanolis – Fanolis recorded career totals of eight goals and 15 assists for the Owls, and played in nearly every game in her four seasons. Indiana University of Pennsylvania forward Ericka Griffith – Griffith started in all but one game for the Crimson Hawks over the last three seasons, and tallied a goal and two assists in 2016. American International forward Emma Heroth – Heroth stands second on the Yellowjackets with four goals this season and has 11 goals and five assists over the last three years. LIU Post goalkeeper Ericka Parks – Parks has served as the primary starting goalkeeper for the Pioneers over the past three seasons, and has a 0.95 goals against average while starting all 16 games this year. Lindenwood defender Amelia Rodriguez – Rodriguez has been a key player in all four of her seasons for the Lions, with 14 starts in her 17 appearances in 2016. Millersville goalkeeper Samantha Rumler – Rumler led the nation in goals against average as a junior and has stood out again as a senior with a 0.58 GAA and .784 save percentage. Bloomsburg defender Peyton Shockley – Shockley has put together a strong senior season by notching a goal and four assists and starting 18 of 19 contests.
