CITI ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
1. Go to https://www.citiprogram.org
2. Click the “Register” button under “Create an account” on the right.
3. In the text box for “Search for organization”, search “University of Oklahoma” and select
“University of Oklahoma”. Click “Continue to Step 2”.
4. Type in your first and last name, your primary email address affiliated with your University,
(twice), and secondary email address (twice). Click “Continue to Step 3”.
5. Choose a username and password. For the username, we recommend that you use your OU 4x4
username and choose a password that is easy to remember. Please keep this information handy
for future reference. Choose and answer your desired security question. Click “Continue to Step
4”.
6. Respond to the questions on gender, ethnicity, and race. Click “Continue to Step 5”.
7. Mark “No” on the first question about Continuing Education credits. If you respond “Yes” that
that question, it will try to charge you a fee for completing the training. Respond to the last
question regarding CITI contacting you in the future for surveys. Click “Continue to Step 6”.
8. Respond to the OU demographic questions. If you are from Rogers State or Cameron
University, you should note your Cameron or RSU information instead. Click “Continue to Step
7”.
9. Choose “Social Behavioral Modules: Social Behavioral Research Investigator and Key Personnel”.
Choose “Not at this time.” for questions 2, 3, and 4. Select “Complete Registration” to confirm
that account.
You should now be able to click on the Social Behavioral Training link and complete the modules. This
training will be good for 2 years to the date of completion. You will receive a reminder when your
training is expiring, at which time you will need to complete the refresher course.
