During Term 4 there will be two PSSA Gala Days. On these days Glenfield PS teams will compete against teams from other schools. Dates for Term 4 gala days: Friday 9 October 2015 (Week 1) and Friday 23 October 2015 (Week 3). Venues are as follows: LEAGUE-TAG TEE BALL BASKETBALL Victoria Park Minto Milton Park lngleburn Centennial Stadium Minto Time: All games start at approximately 10.00am. Team members should be at the school by 8.30am to have their name marked off and be ready to catch transport to their venues. What to wear: School sports uniform. The school will provide basic equipment such as pads and gloves but students may wish to bring additional gear of their own. What to bring: The competition on these days will be for the full day. Students should bring their lunch, recess, drinks, hat, sunscreen, and something warm to wear in case there is a change in the weather. A plastic bag to sit on as the ground could be wet. (PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THE SCHOOL CANTEEN). COST: $ 12 FOR THE 2 GALA DAYS. This includes bus fare. BASKETBALL COST: $ 12 FOR THE 2 GALA DAYS. This includes court hire and train fare. Parents have the option of paying for sporting events online. Parents who choose to pay online will need to provide the receipt number. This will ensure the payment is processed correctly and acknowledges that you have paid for the sporting event. You must still return the permission slip to your class teacher.
