June 2017 Update on Power Plant
Net Generation Figures and Coal Production Volume of Coal Mines
The appended press release contains power plant net generation figures and coal
production volume of coal mines for June 2017 for China Resources Power
Holdings Company Limited (the “Company”) and its subsidiaries and associates.

Net Generation of Subsidiary Power Plants
in the First Six Months of 2017 Increased by 8.5%
China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited (“CR Power”, stock code: 0836)
today announced that total net generation of subsidiary power plants in June 2017
increased by 18.0% to 14,172,493MWh from 12,010,040MWh for the same period of
2016. Total net generation of subsidiary power plants for the first six months of 2017
increased by 8.5% to 76,978,660MWh compared to 70,958,229MWh for the same period
last year.
On a same plant basis, total net generation of subsidiary coal-fired power plants for the
first six months of 2017 increased by 3.4% compared to the same period of 2016. Power
plants located in Guangdong, Hubei, Hebei, Jiangsu and Other provinces recorded
11.3%, 10.7%, 7.9%, 0.1% and 5.0% increases year on year, respectively. Power plants
located in Henan recorded 5.1% decrease year on year.

Coal Production in the First Six Months of 2017 Reached 6.924
Million Tonnes
China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited (“CR Power”, stock code: 0836)
today announced that total coal production in June 2017 decreased by 18.0% to 1.063
million tonnes from 1.297 million tonnes for the same period last year. Total coal
production for the first six months of 2017 decreased by 3.1% to 6.924 million tonnes
compared to 7.146 million tonnes for the same period last year.
