1. DATABASES
Databases are the key instrument for the systematic search for journal articles, book chapters,
conference proceedings, statistics, company information and images. HTW Chur staff and students have free access to more than 70 databases of different types: specialised subject databases (bibliographic databases and full text databases), image databases, statistical databases
and databases for press releases and company information.

Available are all E-Books published by Greenleaf on corporate responsibility, business ethics, environmental policy and management, future business strategy and practice and sustainable development.

Access to about 40 e-books of the Business & Economics collection.
OECD iLibrary
Access to e-books published by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development
(OECD). Topics: development, economy, education, occupation, energy, commerce, transport etc.
Science Direct (Elsevier)
Science Direct contains all electronic publications from Elsevier. HTW Chur staff and students have
access to 520 e-books from the subject areas „Tourism“ and „Management“.
Springer
The HTW Chur Library has a licence for more than 18’000 Springer e-books from different subject
fields (economics, management, social sciences, engineering, technology, computer science, life
sciences, medicine).
Additionally, HTW Chur staff and students have access to some German Springer Reference
Works on different subject areas (psychology, humanities, social sciences, technology, informatics, economics etc.).

Emerald
Access to about 200 research journals published by Emerald in the field of economics, management and library and information science. HTW Chur staff and students have access to all issues
published since 1994. Among others, the following journals are available: Accounting, Auditing &
Accountability Journal, International Journal of Managerial Finance, Qualitative Market Research.
SAGE
Access to research journals published by SAGE in the field of media and communication studies,
economics, management and tourism. Among many others, the following journals are available:
Business Information Review, Human Resource Development Review, Journal of Hospitality &
Tourism Research, Journal of Sports Economics etc.
Science Direct (Elsevier)
Science Direct contains all electronic publications from Elsevier. HTW Chur staff and students have
access to about 1'800 research journals from different subject areas. Among others, the following
journals are available: Accounting, Management and Information Technologies, International Business Review, Business Research Quarterly.
Taylor & Francis
HTW Chur staff and students have access to about 1’100 journals from the Taylor & Francis Social
Sciences and Humanities Collection. Full texts are available since 1997. Among others, the following journals are available: Review of Political Economy, The International Journal of Human Resource Management, Applied Financial Economics
Wiley
Access to about 1’500 journals from different subject areas. Full texts are available since 1997.

3. LIBRARY CATALOGUES
NEBIS Network
The HTW Chur Library is part of the NEBIS library network (www.nebis.ch). The NEBIS catalogue
contains about 7 million titles including books, serials, journals and non-book materials. Most
documents can be ordered online. The requirement to borrow documents is to be registered as a
user in a NEBIS library.
Grisons Library Network
The Grisons Library Network is a cooperation between the Kantonsbibliothek Graubünden (KBG),
the library of the Bildungszentrum Gesundheit und Soziales (BGS), the media center of the
Bündner Kantonsschule (BGS) and about 15 other Grisons libraries. The network‘ s catalogue
contains about 340‘000 titles.
Swissbib
Swissbib is the catalogue of all Swiss university libraries, the Swiss national library, several cantonal libraries and of other institutions. It provides a convenient, fast and comprehensive gateway
to academic publications in Switzerland.
